What Dreams May Come

Don’t Let It Screw You Up

“Grief is just love with no place to go.” – Jamie Anderson

Grief is love. You know that moment when you finally find the exact words to explain how you feel? You may not have put those words together. Someone wiser probably had the wisdom to do it for you.

“Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give but cannot. All of that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest.”

Grief alters us. It breaks our heart into tiny little pieces. Grief lingers. It has no end. As long as you love, grief stays.

Let that love be the light in the darkness you now feel.
